He has held prominent leadership roles, including Head of Department, Head of School, Executive Dean, Director, CEO, Academic Head at institutions such as Rand Afrikaans University, University of Johannesburg, Monash University South Africa, DaVinci Institute for Technology Management and Belgium Campus iTversity. An active contributor to the global research community, HB has authored 59 textbook chapters and 47 business case studies, while also serving on editorial boards and supervising postgraduate studies.
In addition to his academic leadership, Prof Klopper has made a significant impact as a consultant and advisor to businesses, helping leaders adapt and build more agile organisations capable of continuous learning and growth. His expertise in empowering leaders has shaped numerous organisations across industries, driving innovation and sustainable development.

Francois Meintjes

Francois is an admitted advocate of the High Court. He attained his BLC and LL B degrees at the University of Pretoria, as well as his ILPA (Institute for Life and Pension Advisers) (Life) Certificate. Francois has been involved in the financial services industry since 1990 and is an approved compliance officer.
He joined Moonstone Compliance as a compliance officer in 2005. Francois is familiar with the challenges faced by financial institutions and financial services providers, as well as non-financial accountable institutions, in the ever-changing regulatory landscape, and has wide experience in FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) and FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) compliance.
Karen Swanepoel
SAEOPA, CEO
Karen is the Executive Director of SAEOPA (Southern African Essential Oil Producer Association), and has been involved in many industry studies in the field of essential oils since 2000. She has lectured at various universities in subjects Botany, Bio-entrepreneurship, Biotechnology and Environmental Science. Karen has presented papers at IPUF (Indigenous Plant use Forum) since 2000 and on international level at WOCMAP (World Congress on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants), ISEO (International Society of Essential Oils) , ASNAPP (Agribusiness in Sustainable Natural African Plant Product), Green Gold, SAAB (South African Association of Botanists) , African Corp Science, Agricultural and Training World Conference, CHEMRAWN (Committee on Chemical Research Applied to World Needs), Industrial Crops and Rural Enterprises. My tenure at First National Bank (FNB) stands out as a significant period of growth and achievement. Over the years, I ascended through various roles, each demonstrating my versatility and depth of knowledge. As the Head of Information Technology (IT) Governance, Risk & Compliance in FNB's Chief Risk Office, I played a pivotal role in coordinating across all business units, ensuring governance and alignment across divisions. Prof Eugene Cloete
Prof Cloete also serves on the editorial boards of several journals. He is a past Vice-President of the International Water Association (IWA) and past Chairman of the IWA Strategic Council and currently an IWA Governing Board member. He is also a Fellow of the IWA and a Senior Fellow of the Water Institute of SA (WISA). Prof Cloete was a board member of the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Water Research Commission Board. In 2016 Prof Cloete was appointed by the Minister to serve on the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) Council.
Henk Agenbach
He led an Agricultural Co-operative achieving significant growth from a turnover of R309 m to R 5 billion. He started a LT finance company to finance farmers and farming related businesses. Using satellite technology farmers was assisted in managing their crops and also managing the risk of financing those crops. Through this the whole input supply chain could be better managed and volumes used to create advantages to farmers.
He consulted with various International Banks and financial institutions in finding the right structured finance unique to Agriculture. He was also invited as a representative of Africa to the Advisory Board meeting of Rabo Bank a leading bank specialising in Agriculture.
