Dr Johan de Beer, a registered Industrial Psychologist, specialises in leadership development, Psycho-Legal Assessments; Talent Search; Executive Placements; Organisational Development (OD); Job Architecture, and Psychometric Assessment. He holds a Doctorate (D Litt et Phil) in Industrial Psychology from University of Johannesburg and master’s degree in Psychology from University of Pretoria, with 30 years’ experience in the field. He held various positions in human resource management, organisational consulting in business and corporate environments. He has traveled and worked in Europe, Australia and the USA

Francois Meintjes
Compliance Officer
Francois is an admitted advocate of the High Court. He attained his BLC and LL B degrees at the University of Pretoria, as well as his ILPA (Institute for Life and Pension Advisers) (Life) Certificate. Francois has been involved in the financial services industry since 1990 and is an approved compliance officer.
He joined Moonstone Compliance as a compliance officer in 2005. Francois is familiar with the challenges faced by financial institutions and financial services providers, as well as non-financial accountable institutions, in the ever-changing regulatory landscape, and has wide experience in FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) and FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) compliance.
Karen Swanepoel
SAEOPA, CEO
Karen is the Executive Director of SAEOPA (Southern African Essential Oil Producer Association), and has been involved in many industry studies in the field of essential oils since 2000. She has lectured at various universities in subjects Botany, Bio-entrepreneurship, Biotechnology and Environmental Science. Karen has presented papers at IPUF (Indigenous Plant use Forum) since 2000 and on international level at WOCMAP (World Congress on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants), ISEO (International Society of Essential Oils) , ASNAPP (Agribusiness in Sustainable Natural African Plant Product), Green Gold, SAAB (South African Association of Botanists) , African Corp Science, Agricultural and Training World Conference, CHEMRAWN (Committee on Chemical Research Applied to World Needs), Industrial Crops and Rural Enterprises. She has also contributed to publications for the Department of Trade and Industry, Agriculture and Forestry and Acta Horticulture.

Andrea believes in the value of data privacy and its relationship to trust, brand, growth, risk, and compliance. For this reason, she works closely with an organisation's executive management to determine their specific privacy governance requirements and then offers customised solutions through Moonstone Compliance's Privacy Governance Department that is proportionate to the size, scale, geography, and resources of their operation. This includes many POPIA related services such as assistance with policy creation and implementation, Personal Information Impact Assessments, Data Flow Mapping, bespoke facilitated training interventions, reviews and POPIA gap analyses, consultation, and advice.
